About Plaza Santo Domingo

At this plaza in Oaxaca, vibrant colors surround me. I decide to capture these colors and put them to paper.

Here, local valley women display their traditional textiles. Passers-by stop and inspect the hand-embroidered pillows, vests and long sack dresses. Deals are made.

The merchants seek out shade from the afternoon sun while eating, drinking and conversing in their native Mixteca dialect. These merchants love art…all types of art. It is a part of their life and is in their genes.

I show them some of my work and, in return, they show me their vibrant appreciation.

Order handling

All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
