About this painting of Pilgrim
The original Pilgrim was designed for George Washington’s Navy. This Pilgrim however, was new construction.
Well-known master shipwright, Dennis Holland, built her in his front yard on Santa Ana Street in Costa Mesa. Starting in the 1970’s, Holland spent 12 years constructing the 118-foot vessel.
In this 2014 painting, she enters Newport Harbor for a commemoration for her builder. Water cannons from Harbor Patrol boats blast away as a maritime salute.

Order handling
All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damages
Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
