About Birds Leaving

The short summer had come and gone while in Faaborg. We had taken up lodging in an old attic – with no insulation and only a coal stove.

Meanwhile, we dismantled my boat bit by bit. She was slowly being transformed into a long distance cruising vessel complete with living accommodations.

We had sought to rebuild and sail south by then but, lo and behold, autumn and winter came nevertheless.

The glimpse of a flock of birds, heading south in loose formation, brought to bear our longing to head out to sea. The grey clouded skies kept coming – and we were grounded birds for this season.

Order handling

All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
