About this Ribe drawing

My wife and I had wandered down this village street one day. We sat down on some steps to more closely examine the scene before us. I happened to have a drawing panel with me and started to sketch.

At the same moment that I noticed a wooden shoe hung alongside a door, a very stout woman emerged from the doorway.  She immediately started to walk briskly towards my wife and me.

She had wondered what we were up to. Upon determining the situation, she darted back through the low front door and returned with a fresh pot of Danish coffee…along with cups.

On paper, she then spelled out the name of the street for me using a pencil that she would lick. I watched as she wrote the “s” in “Puggaardsgade” backwards. I thought this was so kind of her and made no comment to correct her.

The power of that coffee clearly made this drawing complete in one afternoon!

Order handling

All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
