Giclée reproduction of “Chuck Dent Surfboards: Main Street” from the original pen and ink drawing by artist Scott Kennedy in 1970.
The original work was painted on location in Newport Beach, California, and is part of Scott Kennedy’s Newport Beach Artwork collection.
The painting of this surf shop
Most of my surfer friends went missing from school when surf was up. I, on the other hand, would be sitting in an interesting place along Coast Highway making an ink drawing.
This old brick building housing Chuck Dent Surfboards was a lone structure at the beginning of Main Street where it met Pacific Coast Highway.
I know this building did not have the nicest aesthetics, however I needed to practice my skills in drawing…so this was another challenge for a composition.

Order handling
All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damages
Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
