About this happening spot

The original Charlie’s shared this wharf with Davey’s Locker Fishing Tours at King’s Landing on the Rhine Channel.  Charlie’s Chili was the place to be while trying to sober up after a long night of drinking.

Pete Torre – the real “Charlie” – developed his famous chili while working as a short order cook aboard the fishing boat “Westerner”.  Pete knew me as a budding young artist who was always traveling and painting.

Pete’s business boomed when he moved to the wharf and catered to the early morning fishermen and the late night party-goers. John Wayne was known to drive over with his battered station wagon to grab 5 gallon buckets of Charlie’s Chili for his Christmas Boat Parade parties.

Order handling

All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
