Description

About this scene

Alssund, the narrow waterway between the Als Island and the mainland of Jutland, gave safe anchorage. Here, we did some repairs on our boat Svanen which was built in 1936.

We rafted that summer with our friends aboard Karin. They had just returned from Dutch North Sea waters.

With the OPEC oil embargo going into 1975, many oil tankers from around the world temporarily retired from service.

Taking the time to gaze upon the poetic nature of the scene, I felt compelled to capture this restful moment.

Order handling

All artwork is carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy tubing. Multiple artwork orders may require more than one shipping tube.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-5 business days and are shipped from California. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

Art by Scott Kennedy is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
